PROVEN Bank Welcomes Sonja M Salmon as President & Chief Executive Officer

We are pleased to announce that Sonja M. Salmon has been appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of PROVEN Bank Limited, with overall responsibility for the Bank’s operations in the Cayman Islands.

Sonja is a Caribbean banking executive with more than 20 years of financial services experience, including over 15 years leading teams across the region. She brings deep expertise in risk, governance and operations, and a leadership style matched by a genuine, people-first approach and a strong commitment to the communities we serve. Her background spans senior risk and legal leadership at HSBC, profit-and-loss responsibility across multiple Caribbean markets at Sol Petroleum, and mergers-and-acquisitions and strategy roles at RBC and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
